OUTINGS |

|
Club members also organize hiking outings in the spring, summer and fall in various locations, typically in Northern California. For example, past outings have been held at: Pinnacles National Monument, Big Sur, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, Lake Tahoe, Lassen Volcanic National Park and many other beautiful spots. Spring and fall outings are held over a long weekend; summer outings are a full week long, typically at the end of July. Various guided hike options (mini, midi and maxi hikes) are available everyday during most outings. Members in good standing are welcome to participate in the outings on the condition that they be willing to: arrange their own transportation and accommodations (suggestions are always provided); contribute to the late afternoon social hour and assist with set up and clean up as needed; take full responsibility for their readiness and ability to do the hikes without assistance and at a reasonable pace. A list of outing participants is provided to those attending. A $10.00 outing fee is required per person, payable in advance at the time of registration for the outing. |
