DECEMBER 6 – MOUNT TAMALPAIS

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. Reconvene and meet leader at 9:15 a.m. at Boot- 

jack parking lot. Hike to Rock Spring, Bernstein trail to Potrero Camp, Rifle 

camp for lunch, then to West Point Inn and back. 7-8 miles. Rain cancels.

DECEMBER 13 – HEATHER FARMS 

Leaders: Ron and Anne Woods (925-930-9194) 

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. Reconvene and meet leaders at approximately 9:00 

a.m. at Walnut Creek BART. Reconvene Heather Farms and begin hike at 

9:30 a.m. (cars available) Canal Trail Loop over to and along side Boundary 

Oaks Golf Course to Arbolado Park and return. Short stop at Arbolado for 

snacks/lunch. 4-5 miles. Moderate pace, mostly level. Heavy rain cancels.

DECEMBER 20 – REDWOOD PARK

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. reconvene 9:15 a.m. at Regional Park Skyline 

Gate. French trail to Chown trail to Stream Trail. Return Via Canyon and 

East Ridge Trails. Approximately 8 miles. Hiking poles recommended.

DECEMBER 27 – MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY - OAKLAND MINI 

HIKE

Leaving time: 9:30 a.m., reconvene and meet leaders 10:00 a.m. at en- 

trance circle of cemetery. Piedmont Ave. dead ends at entrance; bear right 

after the gate. Pleasant Valley is nearest cross street. Call Susan for transit 

& other info. Amble through historic 220 acre memorial park. Trees, lakes, 

fountains, chapels. About 4 miles; length flexible depending on wishes of 

hikers. Possible coffee or bubble tea stop afterwards. Rain enhances.
