NOVEMBER 1 – BON TEMPE LAKE

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. reconvene and meet leader at 9:15 a.m. at Fairfax 

Parkade to carpool back to Bon Tempe Lake. The hike begins at the dam 

between B.T. and Alpine lakes, then on the Kent Trail up the Stocking Trail 

to the Rocky Ridge Fire road back to Bon Tempe. After Rocky Ridge we 

could come down to Lake Lagunitas and back to the dam. Hike is about 7 

miles with approximately 1,000 feet elevation. Rain cancels.


NOVEMBER 8 – ANNUAL LUNCH and MAXI MINI HIKE in WA- 

TERFRONT PARK.

Leaving time: 9:30 a.m. Meet at His Lordship’s Restaurant (call leader 

if you need ride from Shattuck and Berkeley Way). Hike about 4 miles 

then walk to Berkeley Yacht Club. Noon lunch at Berkeley Yacht Club on 

Berkeley Marina (see coupon) one block north of the west end of University 

Avenue.


NOVEMBER 15 – OLOMPOLI STATE HISTORIC PARK

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. Reconvene and meet leader at 10:00 a.m. at Olom- 

poli State Park parking lot SOUTHBOUND ENTRANCE ONLY. Hwy. 101 

North to Petaluma Blvd. South exit; follow directions to return to highway 

101South; go 5-6 miles south and exit right at Olomooli State Park. Parking 

fee Hike is to top of Mt. Burdell, 10 miles 1500 feet elevation change. Rain 

cancels. Riders and drivers please call leader.


NOVEMBER 22 – PT. ISABEL, MARINA BAY, ROSIE the RIVETER

Leaving time: 8:45 a.m. Reconvene: 9:15 a.m., East side of Pt. Isabel, end 

of Ryder Road, El Cerrito. Moderate hiking on paved path, 5+ miles. Bring 

water and lunch. Questions, can drive, need ride: call leader. Rain cancels.


NOVEMBER 29 – REDWOOD REGIONAL PARK 

Leader: Nancy Sampson (653-1867) 

Leaving time: 8:30 a.m. reconvene at 9:00 a.m. at Skyline Gate, Come en- 

joy the Redwoods of the East Bay and the fragrance of the Bay Trees. Check 

out the water in the creek. We’ll take the East Ridge trail to the Canyon Trail 

down to the meadow, have lunch and return on the Stream Trail. There will 

be up hill after lunch. About 7-8 miles. Rain cancels.
